Home schooling. The hippies started it, back in the sixties—but these days, its the rage with evangelical, right-wing parents who want to shield their children from public schools, with their secular, scientific world view, socialist indoctrination and gay agenda. We take you now to the home of the Andersons, an evangelical family in Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District – you know, Michele Bachmann land. Concerned they’re denying their home-schooled son Danny the experience of performing in a high school musical, the Andersons have written and are performing with him his very own show, which we call “Home School Musical.”

President Barack Obama set off a firestorm of controversy among American conservatives when he announced that he would make a televised speech to America’s schoolchildren. Fearing that the president would use the speech to politically indoctrinate their children, some conservative parents pulled their children out of school that day. As it turned out, the president’s speech contained nothing that could be considered political propaganda, it was simply a message to children to try their best in school. But some conservatives still found the incident troubling. Greg interviews a media relations expert from the American Conservative Heritage Tradition Foundation.

We’ve been hearing so much about the birther movement lately. As you may know, "birthers" are conservatives who maintain that Barack Obama is not the lawful president of the United States because---they allege---he was not born in the United States. In this segment, Greg interviews Ainley Taitz. Like Orley Taitz, a source of the birther rumors.

Rush Limbaugh announced this week he wants to buy the St. Louis Rams. That would be interesting. Unlike corporate news media hacks, sports reporters still know how to ask hard questions and not take BS for an answer. Here's what it would sound like if he DID get to own the team and had to answer questions in a post-game interview.
